I am just beginning this blog. As I learn, the site will evolve. But I invite you to stay and G.L.O.W. with me as I develop my Lived Wisdom community. Make sure to drop me a line.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Wisdom can be a tricky thing. It is often mistaken for knowledge or skill. This confusion is understandable because often wisdom can work in tandem with both. Webster's Dictionary defines wisdom as "the quality of ...learning and having knowledge". I like this definition. Notice it says wisdom is learning. That tells me as long as I am willing to learn, I can have wisdom. Also, Merriam-Webster states that wisdom is "1 a: ... INSIGHT." However, there is a learning process or lesson. Be sure to complete the process and reflect. Completion of the process and reflection gives you insight. A lesson learned equals a modified behavior. Periodt! The posts in this blog come from my experiences about growth, love, offering, and withstanding. This G.L.O.W. is a testimony of my ability to exercise lived wisdom or my failure to apply lived wisdom. Please always consider failure as a teaching tool. Look at the imagery on my site: the road that bifurcates, one leading to lush vegetation and the other to the dead bushes. You get to make this choice. If you held this imagery of wisdom in your head when making decisions, then making choices using lived wisdom would be easier, but often, we don't. I don't. None of us do. The excellent news is that wisdom is a discipline. Ask for it! (James 1:5-8)
Grow! Growth is essential for living.
Love! Learn about it and learn from it.
Offer or give to yourself & someone else..
Withstand or live through it. Resilience is a strength.
